Ignacio Agramonte International Airport - CMW
The Ignacio Agramonte Airport is a small-size international airport located 8 km from Camaguey which is the capital city of the central province of Camaguey in Cuba.
It serves the city of Camaguey and the popular resort destination of Santa Lucia (Playa Santa Lucia) which is located approximately 110 km (68 mi) from the airport. The Camaguey airport handles both domestic and international flights.
The "Aeropuerto Ignacio Agramonte" has two terminals: International and Domestic. The main international terminal is divided in two side-by-side buildings (Arrivals and Departures). The airport has 10 aircraft stands, 8 check-in counters, 2 departure gates, 1 baggage claim carousel, disabled access facilities, short-term and long-term parking spaces. There's no jet bridges, mobile staircases are used for embarking and disembarking passengers onto the tarmac.

It's named in memory of Ignacio Agramonte y Loynáz (1841-1873) who was a Cuban revolutionary, he played an important part in the Ten Years' War (1868-1878).
During World War II this airport was used by the United States Army and was later converted into a civilian airport. The airport is also an inactive Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces air base (known as Camaguey Air Base).
